About Dr. Osborne
In 2012, Dr. David Osborne moved to Cairns, Australia, to pursue a dentistry career, completing his Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2016 at James Cook University. In Australia, Dr. Dave was fortunate to have many opportunities to explore the outback, as well as pursue his favourite pastime, fishing, including fly fishing for tuna while on placement in rural and remote Far North Queensland. Dr. Dave loves to swap fishing stories.
Before commencing his dentistry career, Dr. Dave took time off of academics to focus on a career playing hockey, which included two years in the AJHL and a season with U of A Golden Bears. Playing hockey allowed him to participate in volunteer work, including the H.E.R.O.S program, which uses hockey to teach life skills and empower underprivileged children. This exposed Dr. Dave to the value of community involvement and the personal satisfaction provided by helping others.
Dr. Dave is excited to return to his hometown of Edmonton to join the team at Heritage Dental Centre, which is where he received his first dental care as a young boy. With his passion for dentistry and his focus on new technologies, Dr. Dave is committed to providing his patients with the best care available.

About 30 or so years ago I took a bad 30 foot fall that caused me a lot of body and mind trauma. I had more anxiety with my recent dental procedure than that time in my life. Can I ask to see a particular dentist?
Yes. Tell us who when you book and we will put it on your file. Most of our patients see the same dentist every visit, and that is how we prefer it too.
What if my dentist is not available when I need to be seen?
Any of our dentists can see you, and they all work from the same records in the same clinic. For anything urgent, take the first appointment we can offer rather than waiting.
Are you accepting new patients?
Yes, all of our dentists are accepting new patients.
Do you bill my insurance directly?
Yes, wherever your plan allows it, so in most cases there is nothing for you to claim back yourself. Heritage Dental Centre is also a registered provider for the Canadian Dental Care Plan.
How do I change to a different dentist here?
Just say so when you book. Nobody needs a reason and your records stay where they are.
